eSim in Israel! Do and Don’t, Activation Tips.

Drumroll, please! 🥁 We’re excited to shout it from the rooftops: We now offer eSIM in Israel! Say goodbye to snail mail woes, lost SIM cards, and endless waiting. With our eSIM service, your phone is ready to rock ‘n’ roll in Israel as soon as you land. No more fumbling with tiny cards or worrying about delivery mishaps. It’s time to kiss those old-school SIM troubles goodbye and say hello to hassle-free connectivity.

Convinced? Perfect! now read the following to make sure that using an eSim is smoother than Hummus!

First of all! Your phone must be unlocked by your wireless provider back home to use the eSIM.

  1. Wait Until Arrival: Wait until you have landed in Israel before starting to activate your eSIM. This ensures a smooth activation process.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi: Connect to the internet using Wi-Fi and scan the QR code provided in the simpatic.net email to activate your eSIM. This can help you avoid any additional data charges.
  3. MAKE SURE YOU CAN SCAN THE SIM CARD FROM ANOTHER DEVICE (LIKE A TABLET/LAPTOP etc…) OR PRINT AND BRING A COPY OF THIS EMAIL WITH YOU
  4. eSim CAN BE SCANNED ONLY ONCE, PLEASE ENSURE THAT ITS WILL BE SCANNED FROM THE SAME PHONE AS YOU WISH TO USE WHILE TRAVELING.
  5. Disable the previous Line: Once connected to Wi-Fi, turn off your other line to avoid any conflicts with the eSIM service.
  6. Turn Off VPN: Disable any VPN running on your phone, as the eSIM will not work with an active VPN connection.
  7. Reset Network Settings: If you encounter an error message during the first attempt to connect, reset the network settings. Please note that this action will delete your Wi-Fi passwords.

One more thing:)

  • Check Compatibility: Please ensure that your device supports eSIM functionality before purchasing or activating the eSIM.

ENJOY!
